LAB DESCRIPTIONS

Tim Elmore — The Future Begins with Z: Generation Z is reshaping culture, communication, and leadership. In this lab, Tim Elmore helps leaders understand today’s emerging generation and offers practical ways to build trust, cultivate maturity, and empower young people to lead. Designed for parents, pastors, educators, and mentors who want to engage and disciple Gen Z with wisdom and hope.

Olumide Akinwande — Lectio Divina: Slowed-Down Reading in a Frantic World: As technology accelerates the pace of life, our spiritual rhythms are often swept along with it. Many of us find that even our engagement with Scripture gets fast-forwarded by the pressures of our culture. This lab will invite you to step into a slower, more attentive way of being with God. You’ll learn how to practice—and lead others in—the ancient, contemplative discipline of Lectio Divina, a way of encountering God, yourself, and one another through Scripture with intentional stillness and depth.

Doug Foltz — AI and Jesus-Followers: Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing how we work, think, and create. This lab explores how followers of Jesus can navigate the digital age with wisdom, ethical clarity, and redemptive imagination. Doug Foltz will unpack both opportunities and cautions as we learn to use AI as a tool — not a master.

Cameron Walker — How to Lead Without Losing Your Soul: Leadership is meaningful — but it’s easy to pour out faster than you’re filled. In this lab, Cameron Walker will help leaders develop healthy rhythms, emotional resilience, and sustainable practices that protect the soul while advancing mission. For anyone leading teams, ministries, or families who wants longevity, joy, and integrity in their calling.

Dave Rhodes & Brenda Jones — Leading in the Fourth Quarter: What does leadership look like when the pace increases and the pressure rises? Dave Rhodes and Brenda Jones will share frameworks for leading well in seasons of transition, decision-making, and organizational change. This lab is ideal for senior leaders and high-capacity volunteers navigating the challenges of their "fourth quarter" — where clarity, character, and courage matter most.

Caroline Schandel — Life in the Spirit: The Spirit of God still leads, empowers, and speaks today. In this lab, Caroline Schandel will explore how to live in step with the Spirit through Scripture, discernment, and everyday obedience. Expect teaching, reflection, and space to encounter God’s presence in fresh ways.
